About Us

Here at Limelight Camera & Lens Hire we are a family run business hiring cameras, lenses, and a whole host of other accessories out to businesses and the public in the United Kingdom. Our mission is to provide a premium hire service at competitive prices, and to grow our inventory with more brands and models to cater for the demand of our customers.

The team here is made up of professional videographers, some of which have over 10 years working experience. Limelight Camera & Lens hire is a trading brand of the Limelight Media Productions Ltd which was founded in 2012. Our original inventory was made up of the equipment being used by our production company and we have invested in supplementary stock to grow with time. We have had lots of experience using cameras, lenses and accessories as part of a production and from that we understand the needs of photographers and videographers and the requirement for using quality and reliable equipment.

All of our equipment is fault-tested between hires and serviced as necessary. We provide all camera and lens equipment hires in protective waterproof and foamed hard cases to ensure it is protected to the highest level at all stages of the hire period. You can either collect in person from our Haverhill office, or choose to have a secure courier deliver and collection service during checkout.

We store all of our equipment inhouse to keep our overheads to a minimum. As we are currently not VAT registered all hires are currently VAT exempt. The combination of these two factors means that in turn we can offer highly competitive hire rates to you, our customers!
